The INNIO factory, where massive power-generation engines are assembled, and Handling Specialty have enjoyed a very successful relationship over the past three years. INNIO’s custom material handling requirements have been met by Handling Specialty’s experienced technical sales and engineering departments and built by our skilled manufacturing personnel. This turn-key project – in the facility coined the Brilliant Factory in Welland, Ontario – has returned to Handling Specialty time and again as they continue to expand operations.
The assembly line includes multiple heavy-duty AGV/MGVs, several massive personnel lifts, specialized tooling for the AGVs and the four-post power-gen engine lifts.
It is a testament to INNIO’s abilities and Handling Specialty’s material handling equipment to say that INNIO has delivered roughly 30.000 of its fuel-flexible Waukesha gas engines to nearly 80 countries and almost every state in the U.S.
