Customizing automotive lifts and positioning product design is Handling Specialty’s wheelhouse. There are many opportunities to improve efficiency and safety when engineering and building handling equipment for the automotive industry, and we’ve been designing lift and positioning equipment for over 50 years. These particular lifts are an excellent example of design and engineering advancements as these custom personnel lifts are used to position personnel during the inspection of vehicles in an automotive facility’s paint shop.
The lifts are placed on either side of the car body with a safety touch tape switch to ensure the personnel lift does not interfere with the car body.
Both lifts include Home, Mid-up and High pre-programmed positions, multiple limit switches, maintenance Lock-up Bars, two operator pushbutton stations, a vertical stabilizing guide assembly, 3- 120v receptacles, maintenance control boxes and many more custom options to assist in employee safety and worker efficiency.
