Food Trucks Visit Handling Specialty
Handling Specialty’s always enjoyed employee appreciation BBQ’s at both our Grimsby and Hamilton plants, but this year we decided to take it up a notch and hire a food truck for our summer BBQ.
This was a free lunch put on by Handling’s Social Health and Wellness committee who plan multiple events every year to show the company’s appreciation for our talented staff. With choices that ranged for Crispy Chicken sandwiches to Halal hot dogs, Veggie burgers and Salads, the food truck event went off without a hitch, appealing to everyone’s dietary needs.
With the success of this event, the committee is arranging an ice cream truck to visit each plant in August delivering a sweet and refreshing treat to beat the heat.
