On July 13th, Handling Specialty joined up with Whiting Canada to play in their annual golf tournament. This year, as in past years, the tournament was held at Rockway Vineyards, where an 18-hole golf course plays alongside the picturesque setting. The day was a hot one at 42 degrees Celsius, but a powerful breeze throughout the day kept the heat manageable and the golfers on their game.
Door prizes and best foursome, closest to the hole and closest to the pin awards, were handed out at dinner, where the two companies mingled. Prize donations came from several Handling and Whiting suppliers. The annual tournament is a well-received event and a great opportunity to network with the companies.
