Overview
This pit lift assembly with an iris cover allows for intermittent operation (2 cycles per shift, i shift per day, 365 days per year) and is controlled by a pendant attached to the motor to allow technicians to assemble a turbine vertically as it rises from below grade. The iris opens and closes as the circumference of the turbine changes.
