Tom Beach, President of Handling Specialty, was recently invited to join a panel of experts for an important webinar at Economic Development Canada’s headquarters in Ottawa. Handling Specialty won a project worth over 700k with the help of the EDC in recent times, and because of their excellent working relationship, Tom was asked to speak about his experience in locating, researching and securing international customers.

During the webinar, Tom answered questions concerning how exports fit into the company’s business strategy, how the company diversified to new markets internationally, how he sees Canadian brands are perceived, and how Canadian companies can take advantage of that, and the top lesson Tom has learned in the trenches over his distinguished career with the material handling manufacturing industry.
