On Friday, November 8th, a group from Handling Specialty attended the 2019 OACETT Provincial Honours & Awards Gala, where our own Russell Johnston received the George Burwash Langford Memorial Award. This was an incredible honour and an amazing evening spent with other OACETT members celebrating their own accomplishments. Congratulations to all the award recipients!
Russell celebrated his 20th work anniversary with Handling Specialty in 2019 and admits that over the years, the company’s product offerings have become more complex, more challenging. But Russell has been at the forefront of many new technological advancements with Handling and mentoring other designers by taking the lead in training and providing the best design practices while actively encouraging a positive team environment.
When one of our own is nominated or takes home an award like this, the whole company celebrates. Our President and Management team enjoyed the Gala event in support of Russell, HSML’s Advanced Engineering Specialist.
