Transfer Tables
Overview
With the combined experience of Whiting Corp’s many years of designing and building rail transfer tables and Handling Specialty’s knowledgeable sales and engineering departments, Handling designs their transfer tables to withstand the rugged and abusive environments they will be subjected to.
Rail transfer tables are essential for maintaining traffic flow between tracks in your rail car MRO or maintenance shop. Winches can also manage the movement of rail cars on and off the transfer table or a progression system supplied on the transfer table.
Standard rail transfer tables traditionally require a pit up to several feet deep; Handling can supply a custom rail transfer table that requires no pit. This unique design permits normal traffic flow on a track even when the transfer table is busy on another track.
