Overview
These custom hydraulic scissor lifts, designed for the aerospace industry, will be used to raise and lower a work platform. The customer provided the platforms, and Handling Specialty was tasked to create tooling to affix the existing platforms to the top of the scissor lift.
The hydraulic lifts will operate intermittently for five cycles per day, 16 hours a day, 250 days a year and be mounted to the client’s floor.
Features
- Safety lock-up bars.
- Hinge pins consist of steel pins with filament wound, carbon-impregnated “Garmax” (or equivalent) bearings.
- Cam follower-type bearings at all rolling contact points, running on captive tracks (base frame only).
- Fall-Safe.
