Overview
Handling Specialty was approached by a US-based material handling company to custom engineer and manufacture an overhead three-stage inverted belt lift with attached tooling (which rotates) that holds a part as it goes through an intensive cleaning and coating process.
The lift was mounted onto overhead rails, which circled throughout the customer’s facility, stopping at each dip “station” for the part to be lowered and rotated through the various liquids that made up the process.
Features
- Permanently mounted to the customer’s overhead carrier, and lift traverses around the building to various chemical/coating dip stations.
- 8 seconds rise and lower time.
- Lift provided with separate rotator attachment engaged via the lifting hooks.
- Operator controls are located on the main panel and include start/e-stop, local/remote selector, rotate selector and up/down selector.
