Overview
These nine rail turntables are used to automatically rotate a single wheelset from a bogie (truck). When the wheelset is rolled onto the turntable, stops on the turntable track will secure it while the turntable rotates 90 degrees. After rotating the stops will release the wheelset and a lever mechanism will push the wheelset off the turntable. The turntable will then rotate back 90 degrees to its original position.
Each turntable will be of a heavy duty welded construction utilizing structural mechanical design with field tested components proven by years of service experience.
