Overview
Handling Specialty played a significant part in the development of the modern assembly line used in automotive assembly plants today. This lift is a prototype developed for a Big Three automaker in the 80s as efficiency and ergonomics became an integral part of the auto assembly process. Handling Specialty custom engineered and manufactured these self-propelled lifts and used in a simulated auto assembly plant environment to develop new processes and train workers.
