Underwater stage lifts on CTV news

Handling Specialty’s underwater stage lifts were shown in the Your Morning newscast via CTV on their ICYMI (In Case You Missed It) segment. We have shown this clip in the past from the diver’s Instagram page, but because it has once again become relevant, we thought we’d share it again.

The lifts include three stages which can move independently or in tandem depending on the show’s choreography. They can be fully submerged so divers can do their thing, or appear above the water level to allow for a dry stage.

Each Oasis-class ship in the Royal Caribbean fleet includes these stages at the ship’s stern where shows are put on daily for cruisers to enjoy. Handling Specialty has continued its unique relationship with RCCL, maintaining these underwater stage systems while placing new stages into the latest Icon-class ships under the Aquadome.
